Bringing Play to your Work
/Hello Love!
Ending our month-long theme of PLAY, with a really important question: What are you most passionate about? Whether you answer immediately or take some time, it’s most likely something you deeply connect with:
Something you find really fun
A creative outlet that you can get completely absorbed in
Feels like part of who you are
You may call it being “in your groove” or “in flow”, but this kind of playful, soul-satisfying energy helps to raise your vibrations. And it might come as a surprise, but this is the goal feeling, all the time.
Many of us are fortunate to have this feeling through our work, whether as entrepreneurs or in a corporate setting. But if you haven't been able to tap into your passion in your professional life, there’s lots you can do to still activate that playful side. Here’s some questions to consider:
How can you do more of what lights you up at work? Maybe it’s asking to take on a new project, expanding your exposure via a cross-functional team or trying to delegate/systematize some of your least favorite repeat activities.
What do I love most about my job? Even if it’s not ideal, connecting to the beneficial aspects of your work and feeling truly grateful for them can be a simple, but powerful mood-booster.
What are some ways that I play off-the-clock, that I could incorporate into my 9-5? Perhaps there’s an opportunity for movement, music, an activity or other creative outlet you haven’t yet considered.
We spend so much of our lives "working" in one capacity or another. I hope this month you've started to see the value incorporating more fun into all aspects of our lives!
If you want to infuse your life with more passion and play, reach out to schedule a Human Design or Soul Session. These are two incredibly powerful and insightful ways to instantly access more of your authentic self and achieve more alignment.
