I’m a Spiritual HUMMINGBIRD…
Helping people see their own light is my greatest joy
All my life I’ve been interested in personal growth and development, ever since high school when I read my first self-help book. Like many who begin on a spiritual path, I started with the physical body and followed my intuition to cut out red meat at 15. I became a full vegetarian in college and have since tried literally every diet and nutrition program: vegan, raw food, paleo, weight watchers, intermittent fasting etc. I can happily report that I have not “dieted” in the last 5 years, having finally settled into intuitive mindful eating as the most nourishing and conscious way for me to eat.
After moving to NYC in 1999, I fell in love with yoga, but I also need variety. I’ve tried practically every exercise (notice a trend here?) Spinning, HIIT, running a Marathon (just one!), Step, Barre, Kickboxing, Pilates, Trampoline, even Indoor Surfing. Most days I do some combination of walking, yoga and ecstatic dance.
I’m endlessly interested in well being and always finding new things! I often post on Social my latest finds or hacks: Hangover patch, mushroom coffee, collagen water, kombucha, dry-brushing, brain dust, adaptogens, homemade botanical sodas…the list goes on! I’m a huge believer in self-discovery, working with everyone from nutritionists and personal trainers to holistic physicians and shamans. Manifestation, Aura Readings, Acupuncture, Energy Work; bring it on!
When I heard beloved writer Elizabeth Gilbert’s theory of the Hummingbird, my passion for learning and sharing with others totally made sense: I’m a Spiritual Hummingbird. Listen here.
But what really changed my life was learning my Human Design. Finding out that I wasn’t broken, but rather fully embodying (without knowing) the essence of my Manifesting Generator energy was a huge shift in me wanting to help others learn more about themselves.
What makes working with me different? My compassion-based approach to spiritual self-awareness, combining a holistic view of Mind, Body and Spirit.
